2. The benefits under the scheme would be applicable to the student who belongs to EWS category and satisfy the income criteria stipulated in the Govt. Scheme i.e. Gross parental income upper limit of Rs.4.50 Lakh p.a. (from all sources).
3. To submit income certificate issued by authorities mentioned below:

     Maharashtra – Tahsildar
     Karnataka – Tahsildar
     Gujarat - District Collector/Deputy Collector/Assistant Collector

4. Interest payable by the student on the education loan would be reimbursed by the Government to the Bank for the period of moratorium (i.e. course period plus one year or 6 months after getting job, whichever is earlier).
5. After the period of moratorium is over, the interest on the outstanding loan amount shall be paid by the student, in accordance with the provisions of the existing Educational Loan Scheme
6. The interest subsidy shall be available to eligible student only once, either for the first under graduate degree course or the post-graduate degrees/diplomas. Interest subsidy shall, however, be admissible for combined under graduate and post-graduate courses.
